The Hive Is Expanding: A New Chapter Begins in Wyoming County!

Hello Hive families, friends, and future members!

I’m Sydney Harvey, President of The Hive Collective Inc., and I’m absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news that marks a major milestone in our co-op’s journey.

We’re Growing—Hello, Wyoming County!

The Hive Collective is officially expanding! While our beloved Genesee County location will continue to thrive, we’re launching a brand-new branch in Wyoming County to bring our signature co-op experience to even more families. We have chosen the location as a facility in North Java, and while our location may be different on Tuesdays, our commitment to serving Wyoming County is unwavering.

This expansion is rooted in our mission to create inclusive, enriching, and community-driven learning spaces—and we’re so excited to welcome new families into the Hive!

Upcoming Session Details

Our Wyoming County branch will debut with our Winter Session, running from January 6th to February 11th, off on January 20th, and then continue into Spring Session running March 3rd to May 12th, with classes meeting weekly on Tuesdays, with the exception of the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Welcoming Carissa Sanders to the Board

We’re also thrilled to announce a new addition to our leadership team: Carissa Sanders will be joining our board as the Director of the Wyoming County location!

Mandy, Jess, and I are beyond excited to welcome Carissa into this role. She’s a dedicated mother, a gifted teacher, and someone who saw a need in her community—and chose to act. Her passion, excellence, and heart for homeschooling make her the perfect person to lead this new branch, and we are so grateful for her vision and commitment.
